1953, Fort Riley, Kansas. Master Sergent Charles Brown with Masquerader, a 1936 Olympic jumper. The Army sent many of its retired show horses and cavalry horses to Ft. Riley after the demobilization of the U.S. mounted forces in the early 1950s.
